Enter the Solar Observing Lab (SOL) for an exclusive peek into the world of advanced solar gear, from sleek eclipse glasses to Hydrogen-alpha filters. Meet passionate astronomers, explore telescopes, and get your burning questions answered.
Witness the sun's majesty through telescopes outside. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned pro, SOL Day promises a wonderful experience and a newfound fascination with the sun.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Throughout the morning telescopes will be available for viewing the eclipse (weather permitting).
- We will have a collection of experienced astronomers on site showcasing their equipment as well as answering questions.
Specialized telescopes will be available for safe viewing of the sun in various wavelengths between 8am to 11:30am.
- Eclipse glasses will be provided while supplies last, first come first serve basis only.
- Set up time for astronomers will be 6:30am to 7:45am. Gates close for astronomer entry at 7:45am.
